Magnolia Family Dental is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our caring dental team in Midlothian, VA. This is a three-day-per-week position ideal for a hygienist who enjoys building patient relationships, providing thorough preventive care, and working in a supportive, family-centered practice environment.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, and committed to helping patients feel comfortable and confident during every visit. Experience with Open Dental Software is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including cleanings, periodontal maintenance, screenings, and patient education
  • Take and review dental X-rays as needed
  • Support patients with clear communication about oral health, home care, and recommended treatment
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and practice safety protocols
  • Work collaboratively with the dentist and team to create a positive patient experience

Requirements

  • Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
  • X-ray certification required
  • HIPAA certification required
  • Knowledge of infection control and dental office safety standards
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Open Dental Software experience preferred, but not required
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment

Schedule

This is a part-time position, three days per week.

Magnolia Family Dental is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming dental team in Midlothian, VA. This position is available for up to three days per week, with a flexible schedule for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate enjoys helping patients feel comfortable from the moment they call or walk through the door. Dental office experience is preferred, and bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and create a positive first impression
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient communication
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and appointment needs
  • Support the team with administrative tasks and daily front desk operations
  • Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional office environment

Qualifications

  • Previous dental office experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, professional, and patient-focused personality
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dental office systems
  • Ability to work well with both patients and team members

Schedule

This is a part-time position for up to three days per week, with some flexibility in scheduling.
